First Day at John Carroll

     First day at John Carroll was a mix of emotions, such as being excited, nervous, and happy etc. I met a lot of new people, so that was really nice. I also thought it was nice just to have the freshman and sophomores come to school first, because I didn't feel so overwhelmed by how much people there were. I especially loved all my classes, it just felt like the teachers are really putting their time and dedication for me to learn the material that I need to learn. Surprisingly, I didn't have many problems, I think the only problem I had was opening my locker; but after like the tenth time I was finally able to open it. It's just so nice to be in a school where a lot of people want to be involved in other things, such as sports and drama and I love how those people encourage each other to do those things. The best part though was the speaker, Mr. O'Neill, he was really funny so it was definitely nice to laugh a little in the beginning of school. John Carroll is definitely a great school and someday I would love to say that I graduated from here.
